Victoria's Secret

IMG_8006.jpg

As a sales associate at smaller Victoria's Secret location, I had to play many roles in order to have the store run smoothly.  My routine would consist of checking the iPad for Victoria's Secret Academy for ongoing training and changes within the company.  Next, I would check the backroom for shipment and work on processing new products to either add to back stock or bring to the floor to replenish merchandise. In between processing, I would complete sales and work at the POS.  On days where my main role was floor-sets, I would come in from 6am-9am to set up complete the required visual merchandising. I would follow a brand guide but with stocking a smaller store means less merchandise;  This is where I would have to get create and complete the best floor-set to my ability (pictured above are some of the floor-sets I have completed). I was also offered to travel to another Victoria's Secrete location in order to help complete their stores' remodel;  It consisted of unboxing, processing, visually merchandising and rearranging the store from scratch to prepare for their reopening four days later.

Piercing Pagoda

I also played many roles as a sales associate at Piercing Pagoda;  I would sell the products, properly pieced ears and noses, gave options for both leasing and layaway, and make sure the appearance of the store was up to company standards. Along with these roles, I was also a key holder and would open and close the store.  Upon opening, I would assess the daily KPI to compare our stores sales, credit card signups, and piercing sales, from last year compared to this year. Within this chart, I also created a daily sales goals sheet for the overall store and all sales associated scheduled for that day.  Finally, I would open the registers and count each piece of jewelry within the store in order to keep track of high ticketed items.

QVC

Temp Position through PeopleShare

Working in product central at QVC for a temporary job, my main title was a product coordinator.  Each day, I would print out a sheet which listed all the items that needed to be photographed, the location of the product, and the times they were being aired that day. When searching for these items, some were already on the show rack and I would take that item to the digital team to be photographed and track the process of where it was with the digital team.  However, there are times when the product is either in the warehouse, being shipped in that day, or located in the area where hundreds of items needed to be returned to their location.  In this case, I would check several places within QVC to find the item which needed to be photographed before air time. After the list was completed for the day or I was waiting to return the products to the show rack, I would assist in returning items to its specific location within the warehouse.
