About
After completion of Industry Challenge class, I joined Dr. Ilyas and her design team for a semester long internship. The business proposal present to Dr. Ilyas was brought to life. During this time, I assisted in the development of both a teenage and resort wear clothing line. While keeping the business proposal and Ambernoon's mission in mind, I researched market trends, designed moodboards & flats, discussed fabrications, and contacted resorts to incorporate the Ambernoon line into their assortment. THE INTERNSHIP
AMBERNOON
As a certified dermatologist, Dr. Ilyas values protecting skin from harmful UV rays. By combining her expertise in dermatology, love for fashion, and caring for the community, Ambernoon was born. Her mission is to provide protective and fashionable apparel with no added chemical finishes or dyes. By the tight knit weave of the clothing, the skin is protected from the sun unlike with apparel currently on the market. Not only does her clothing protect people, but by keeping the apparel free of chemicals, are waters are less polluted.

TEEN LINE
MOOD BOarD
FROM CONCEPT TO PROTOTYPE
Starting off, the mood board I created sets the aesthetic desired for the teen line by Dr. Erum. She was looking for apparel designs which mirrored Brandy Melville and PacSun designs while allowing room to create sun protective features.
RESORT LINE
The mood board gained its inspiration from elevated, luxury resort wear. Ambernoon was looking for a one size fits most look the pictures to the left influenced the final look. Dr. Erum and myself finalized a look which included a printed, sun protected jumpsuit which uses waist and neck ties for easy on and off wear.
