Industry Challenge
Industry challenge is a class offered at Immaculata University where select students work with a growing company and provide insight on the best possible opportunities for the company. This semester, me and six other students are working with Ambernoon - a brand which offers UV protective clothing for everyday where. The owner, Dr. Erum Ilyas, is a certified dermatologist and values providing sun safe clothing with no added chemical finishes or dyes. During this project I am partnered with one other students and we assess aspects such as the impact of COVID-19, expanding her target market, incorporating more product options, the state of the economy relating to geopolitical politics and tariff barriers, and the best regions for manufacturing.
This is an ongoing project during the fall 2020 semester. With continued research and meetings with Dr. Erum Ilyas, each team will come up with a proposal to present to Ambernoon regarding the best growth opportunity to expand her business
